Massacre Mafia Style (1978) aka The Executioner Starring: Duke Mitchell, Vic Caesar, Louis Zito, Cara Salerno, and Lorenzo Dodo

Mimi Miceli (Mitchell) returns back to the United States from Sicily only to find the people running the organized crime legacy his father left behind more like a corporation rather than what the street thugs would call gangsters. The first thing Mimi does is kidnap one of the bosses Chucky Tripoli (Zito) to not just prove a point in how weak they have become but to also show some serious muscle is back in town. After he sends Chucky’s finger to his family and he lets him eventually go, he shows up to Chucky’s kids wedding and tells him, “You lose a finger but you gain a right arm.” All is forgiven and Mimi is back running his own action.
Early into the movie Mimi states, “Tonight we eat, tomorrow we shoot.” Right away he starts whacking all the competing bookmakers, the guys in the organization dealing dope and anyone else that may have a problem with him killing whoever the fuck he wants to.
Duke Mitchell, wrote, starred and directed this classic Mafia Exploitation Film which carries such a traditional sense that if you didn’t grow up in an Italian family, you aren’t going to relate to it the same way. The film is full of hilarious dialogue, a bunch of racism and a wild story that goes from crazy to insane.
One of my favorite lines of the movie is when Mimi starts getting really violent and he says, “If I’m gonna be known as a killer, I’m gonna show you how to kill.” Even the song sung by Carl Cocomo at Chucky’s kids wedding called Rigatone, Mostacoioli and Spaget will be in your head for days.
Massacre Mafia Style is insanely violent and so old school Italian, you will never view another Mob movie the same way again.
