On the heels of our new book It Blows My Mind Book II: The Gospel According to Carmine, Mick Lambrou and I are preparing for our first Kickstarter together with a children’s book we wrote called Night of The GabaGhoul. But don’t think this is just a kids book, it’s intended for adults to enjoy as well!
Inspired by elements of It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown with ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, comes an Italian-American Holiday Tale for children like no other!
The tale begins with a group of children sitting around a campfire while being told a story about a neighborhood guy named Troy, who is notorious for never handing out candy to the neighborhood children each Halloween.
Troy can be described as the Ebenezer Scrooge of Halloween, and on this dark and spooktacular evening, he is visited by none other than The Great GabaGhoul! Because of Troy’s lack of generosity on Halloween night, he learns that The Great GabaGhoul hands down punishments by banning the guilty of the ability to eat Italian Food!
This hardcover 1st edition book will be exclusive to this Kickstarter campaign. The only way to get a hardcover edition is through the Kickstarter.
This is an expansion of the It Blows My Mind series with characters that were all featured in It Blows My Mind Volumes One and Two. The Great GabaGhoul being Carmine of course.
There are some incredible add-ons, including an opportunity to purchase a second book at a discount to be donated to The Phoenix Children’s Hospital. There is also an option to add a digital download read by Danny Marianino and friends in the style of an “80’s Turn the Page” book with sound effects music and more!

Hard Luck, Keeper and Knife’s Edge are performing. It’s a free show (21 and older) and an opportunity to grab a book from us both in person! I’ll post the details in the next day or so!
