When I wrote and recorded my book titled To Make Matters Worse, I wanted to create something with the humor of my first book, but instead more about what it was like to grow up in New Jersey. I was the type of kid that always got into some kind of trouble, embarrassing situation or causing some straight up mayhem. The book is a compilation of stories with me being afraid to poop in a public restrooms and doing awful shit. I discuss when Scared Straight visited my middle school and my experience being terrified by an inmate named Maytag. It’s truly jam packed with stories about general boyhood while maturing in the 1980s.
There is a story about a huge party I had at our house when my parents went on vacation and let me stay with my buddy, and that party gets way out of hand. There is even a story about sneaking in underage at an all nude strip club in Manville NJ called Frank’s Chicken House. I changed the name in the book to Tank’s Chicken House (I changed a lot of names). Frank’s was a nude club that served as you could guess, fried chicken.

This chapter here is the story, told by me, of my Clubhouse. It was not featured in the print version of my book. I recorded this during the audio recording sessions at Arcane Digital Recording Studio, but the book was already completed so I added this into the audio book as a bonus chapter. It’s a funny story that is not work safe by any means! Don’t listen with a kid either cause I go off the rails in this one. But I think everyone needs a laugh right now and hopefully I can help lighten up the world a little at my own expense!
