Some movies are just plain good, and some are so bad they’re absolutely great. Jesse James Meets Frankenstein’s Daughter is one of those gloriously awful films, brimming with unintentional humor—and this year at the Phoenix Film Festival, it’s about to get roasted live by me and Brandon Kinchen!
As avid fans of cheesy B-movies and delightfully trashy drive-in films, Brandon and I couldn’t resist the chance to riff on this 1966 “classic.” We’ll be doing it live during its theatrical presentation on April 5th at The Harkins Cine Capri as part of this year’s festival! I mean, how else do you properly honor a low-budget cash grab that smashes together horror and the Wild West into one delightful cinematic disaster?
Get ready for a night full of laughs as we tear this film apart from start to finish—live and in person! It’s a once-in-a-lifetime showing, and I’m guessing we won’t be in the festival’s largest theater, so snag your tickets early to make sure you don’t miss out!
