I was a surprise guest on NYHC Chronicles Live!

This week, legendary NYHC Historian and film director Drew Stone did an entire episode on the old school New York band Cause for Alarm with front man Keith Burkhardt. Keith was one of the founding members of Cause for Alarm back in the early 80s, along with Rob Kabula and Alex Kinon. I had the opportunity to play guitar in Cause For Alarm in the late 90s when the band had gotten back together. I was not even 21 years old. The band had already established itself as a force to be reckoned with before I joined with the releases of Cheaters and the Cheated and the split they did with NYHC legends Warzone. I recorded one album with Cause for Alarm, an EP called Birth After Birth.

Drew Stone brought me on the episode as a special guest and a surprise to Keith. We had a lot of fun and I wanted to share the episode here as well. The New York Hardcore Chronicles Live is a weekly show with new episodes airing every Wednesday and Sunday. Each week Drew has on a musical guest or more, and has shows coming up artists such as Moby, Gary Meskil (Pro-Pain / Crumbsuckers), Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols / Rich Kids) and Todd Morse (The Offspring / H2O / Juliette & The Licks) to name a few!

The show can be found in multiple platforms. It’s become my main covid form of weekly entertainment and I highly recommend you checking it out. Drew really knows his shit when it comes to music history. If you are on Facebook be sire to follow his page for updates Drew Stone Facebook I come in the interview around 1:33 time wise.
