Fun Video I did for Every Time I Die back in 2020

By now the news has spread around that Every Time I Die has broken up. It’s a real shame because they were a fun band that I came to like a little late in the game and I did not get to see them live. Back in 2020 when covid had started to really spread and there was a lot unknown, Every Time I Die decided to do an online concert event for their annual hoiliday show rather than a live show. One of my old school childhood buddies Doug Spangenberg hit me up and told me that the band wanted to do a Telethon of sorts. They needed to raise $69 to pay off their greedy manager for the money they spent on his credit card.

Doug asked me if I wanted to play that manager and I quickly jumped on the opportunity. within a week my buddy Dan Stone was over my house and we filmed me saying the same crazy shit a few times while I continued eating two pounds of jumbo shrimp. We didn’t plan on the shrimp continuity and it goes from full to almost empty between shots. We got a good laugh at that.

Stone sent our footage to Doug, who put it together with what the band called the streaming show the Every Time I Die Telethon Extravaganza, aka EvertTIDathon 2020. The entire event came out incredible and features all kinds of crazy guests.

I am only in the first few minutes but it was a huge honor. Plus, I got to do something with Doug who is the man. Thanks to Dan Stone for letting me almost get the gout from all that shellfish.

Here is the full telethon for your viewing pleasure!
