Don’t Ever Punch a Rockstar: A Collection of Hate Mail and Other Crazy Insults 10th Anniversary Edition

It’s been 10 years since I wrote my first book Don’t Ever Punch a Rockstar and the opportunity came my way to go back and revisit the story, clean up some things and add a lot more humor to one of the craziest stories that I still can’t believe I lived through. It’s a cautionary tale about what it’s like to play in a small band, get into a scuffle with rock and rolls biggest bully and to come out of the ashes better than ever.

I added a lot of funny stuff: more messages and hate mail and I expanded on some of the funny experiences I should have really told better. When I first wrote the book I was angry at the situation and what came with the events leading up to writing the book and now I am able to look back and laugh about it all with a much clearer outlook. I’ve written a few books since, and once I had my sea legs, I realized I needed to raise the humor level to a Spinal Tap 11.

The book includes a new foreword from Gloria Cavalera. I added more rumors, more music related stories, reviews from people who hated the first book and I added more hate mail. 12% more to be exact. (Give or take a few percent).

In the new expanded edition I partnered with DiWulf Publishing House (No Slam Dancing No Stage Diving No Spikes An Oral History of the Legendary City Gardens) co-founder Steven DiLodovico who took the helm in editing and cleaning up some of the madness from the original release.

The book is available now and can be purchased through DiWulf Publishing House.
